Council Functions

Public services provided to the public are imposed in the functions of the district council

 

 

 

       Compulsory activities

1. Upazila parishad, municipality or such public roads, culvert and not maintained by the government

        Bridge construction, conservation and development

2. Planting and preservation at the side of the road and at public attention

3. Kheyaghat is not preserved by the Upazila Parishad, Municipality or the government

         Management and control

4. Arrangement and supervision of Sarai Kacha, Dakbangla and restroom

5. Assistance to the other organizations that are managing similar functions of the district council

6. Assistance, cooperation and encouragement to Upazila Parishad and Paurashava

7. Implementation of the development plan devoted to the district council by the government

• Public Hall, Community Center Establishment

• Celebrate National Day

• Market placement, control and maintenance

• Improve communication system

 

     The district council provides services to the public

        • Road rigging and other public works

        • Assistance to victims of natural disasters

        • Public sports and sports development

        • Birthday of the Prophet (rah), National Mourning Day, Shaheed Day and others

              Celebrate National Day

        • Welfare activities for the members of the women and the backward classes

        Forestry conservation in rural areas
